11 Respiratory nursing assessment – infant H5P
The following activity was created to help students learn respiratory nursing assessment of an infant. Included is an interactive video with a nurse demonstrates an initial respiratory assessment of an infant who is experiencing respiratory symptoms and is brought into the clinic by the parent.
As students watch the video, there are embedded activities to complete. We suggest students watch the video in its entirety first, and then watch a second time completing the activities as they are presented.
This video and activities was developed for first year BScN nursing students learning basic assessment and interview skills.
